If you live outside of the USA they're awful because of the rubbish backbone, inside the USA and they're fine.

I've got two web sites with HR. Neither is very big, but my experience with HR has been positive. Earlier in the year there were issues with the upstream provider (not HR) that caused some headaches, but since then its been pretty smooth.

VERY BAD host. Stay far far away from them. If i told ya why, i doubt you'd believe me. http://www.hostrocketsucks.com The same things this webmaster is saying (its not me), i can verify. Hostrocket removes negative comments from their forums, cgi pages show up blank half the time, thier email system is always non-operational etc etc etc. I had a really bad experience with hostrocket.

I say avoid HostRocket at all cause, I was looking for a new host about 25 days ago and switched my board over to there corp plan. In the 21 days i was with them they were down atleast one hour every day, two days my site was down for over 5 hours. They are very slow about answering there service tickets while your site is down, they also say the have a customer service number, I promise all you will get is a recording.
Then I come home one night and my site is down and I have a e-mail from HostRocket that says "Your site was using too many resources for one of our shared hosting servers, So you need to find a new host !!"
I send them a e-mail back saying that I signed up for there corp plan which gives me 20gigs a month and currently I am at 11gigs, so could you please make my site live and charge me extra if I happen to go over the 20gigs.
There responds was, "your account has now been suspended"
So now I am scambling to get another host and rebuild everything, Trust me avoid HostRocket they SUCK
